Visit to UKAEA Fusion and JET
JET – The world's largest nuclear fusion research facility
Abstract
- Introduction by a member of the UKAEA Fusion Public Relations Team.
- Guided tour of JET including visit to the JET Torus Hall and the Remote Handling control room (both subject to the operational conditions at the time).
- Presentation of the Control and Data acquisition computer systems by Dr Jonathan Farthing, Assistant Director and Head of CODAS & IT.
- Light refreshments, coffee and tea with biscuits.
Registration at the Reception gate at 1:30 pm, programme starts at 2:00 pm.
Prior registration at the bcsoxon web-site will be necessary. Visitor number limited to 24 individuals.
